We turn it upside down, turn it inside out, give it a good shake, clean out the lint that’s accumulated under the rugs, make it fly, and ensure your project lands on its feet, alive and kicking.
WE SUPPORT PROJECTS (AND WE DON’T CALL IT A “CLINIC” BECAUSE YOU AREN’T SICK)
We personally support your project. We talk about your process, where you are and where you feel lost, what your vision is, and what you’re working on. We look beyond the obvious; we support you directly or indirectly. One of our hands is there to hold, point, soften, applaud, or remove the material you’re working with; the other to push, shake, caress, empty, or stir the waters in which you move. We review portfolios; read scripts; analyze montages; evaluate raw material. We can establish a creative dialogue, engage in an intellectual exchange, and offer a philosophical-political critique of form and content—but above all, we can see the shadow you don’t see, the one that shapes where you are right now.

SOME TESTIMONIALS FROM PEOPLE WE’VE WORKED WITH:
«Developing my film with Elena was the best thing that could have happened to it: it marked a turning point in the creative process and, above all, made the difference between a ‘dream film’ and a ‘film that’s actually happening.’ Elena’s artistic perspective comes from other places—neither the film industry nor the art world. She observes and embraces processes and projects—“the things”—as she calls them—from a human perspective, which is what happens before what we’re working on has a category or a name. She captures that initial impulse and gives it back to you. Together, we dissect the seed of the film until we strip it down to its most fundamental essence. The rest is much easier from there…»
Patricia Delso Lucas.
«I’d been trying to shape a project for a couple of years. I had scattered ideas that had materialized into a few video clips, but it seemed less and less clear to me what I actually wanted. Above all, I was overcome by that feeling of loneliness you get when it seems like you’re the only person interested in carrying out the creative process you’re working on. Then suddenly Elena comes along—she listens to you, welcomes you, supports you, makes you reflect—and everything changes. From that moment on, I began to believe that something was possible.»
Carles Candela
«When I met Elena, I’d been stuck on a project for several years. I was approaching it from my head. Elena is helping me discover a way to work more from the body, from sensations, from the radical honesty of realizing that what we record, what we create, is the result of how we exist in the world. It’s a process. Elena’s sensitivity has been essential. Learning to look in order to learn to film. The film is almost finished. The process, however, continues! Thank you, Elena!»
